The mission of NorthStar Youth Ministries is to help urban youth find their direction in life through high quality, holistic programs within a nurturing Christian environment. As we fulfill our mission in the west side of Birmingham, we seek to build: 

• Programs that optimize physical, academic and moral development.
• Opportunities for youth to explore and excel in their passions and interests. 
• Long-term discipleship relationships that encourage spiritual growth. 
• Commitment to the well being of our target community.
• Enthusiastic collaboration among staff, volunteers, parents and youth to use their unique gifts for mutual benefit.
